Corbin News - Rally saddle for 2021 Harley-Davidson Pan America

Corbin Rally saddle for 2021 Harley-Davidson Pan America

Corbin replaced the two piece stock unit with a single piece basepan to provide a platform with a leaner, flatter profile. This saddle is specifically made for those who also use their Pan America off pavement and want more ability for body movement and aggressive riding. Notice how we eliminated the step to allow you to easily position your body further back when you need to lighten the front end.

Notice how close the Corbin saddle fits to the tank, tail section and sides... this kind of fit comes only from a Corbin saddle and our unique Fibertech basepan. Our rigid base material not only fits perfect to the bike, but provides a firm foundation to support the carefully designed foam shape. Corbin's ergonomic shaping creates a visually pleasing look on the motorcycle and adds to the custom appeal.

We include a wide range of material, color and texture options for your saddle at no extra charge. Above we show it with Black Grabber seating, Classic Leather trim, Matte Black sides and Black stitching. Grabber provides a rugged offroad look and grippy surface texture. Choose from a variety of materials and build your own look at no extra charge.

Corbin's saddle is designed to work with the optional H-D saddlebags and trunk box. Mounts to the motorcycle easily and integrates with the factory key lock

ProCharger Bolt-on M-8 Supercharger

ProCharger Bolt-on M-8 Supercharger

Adds 75% More Power

ProCharger (Accessible Technologies) has announced that its new bolt-on supercharger system for M-8 models is now shipping. Boosting stock power output by a claimed 70 to 75% hp, "bolting on 75% more horsepower has never been easier," says the Lenexa, Kansas based manufacturer.

"The wait is over for our all-new Milwaukee-8 supercharger. This system delivers big power and big reliability. Unlike other high-performance options, idle quality and riding range are unchanged for nothing but smooth, predictable and repeatable power."
According to Sales Manager Walt Sipp: "ProCharger high-output intercooled systems are designed with durability in mind and provide 10 psi of engine-friendly boost from the B-1 supercharger, providing years of trouble-free use while being incredibly easy to install with common hand tools once the engine guard is taken off."
A 100% stock 107" M-8 is said to get a boost to 140 rwhp and as much as 169 rwhp with a cam and a 2-1 exhaust. "No fluff, no hype, just the real world numbers you can expect to make. These are the kind of numbers you FEEL every single time you twist that throttle back."
ProCharger has made some drive changes to its latest supercharger systems for late-model H-D Touring bikes (Baggers) that use two dry belts (not running in oil within the bike's case) with the same "proven and reliable B-1 supercharger head unit and a large air-to-air intercooler."

The high-output intercooled system is said to produce the coolest charge air temps and largest power gains with "smooth boost/power on-demand, for superior riding performance. The air-to-air intercooling provides consistent, reliable power, with no moving parts. The all-new dry belt design provides a long lasting belt life, even in extreme environments."
A high-output tuner kit is also available, which Sipp says "makes sense for someone wanting to perform custom tuning of the bike and push the envelope in performance. They would most likely be experimenting with alternative fuels and changing engine components like heads, headers, exhaust and cams for the engine." Optional upgrades for the supercharger include polished or black finish.

AFT - Memphis Shades Springfield Mile I (Sunday, September 5th)

AFT - Memphis Shades Springfield Mile I (Sunday, September 5th)

Mission SuperTwins Presented by S&S Cycle
Following the weather-induced postponement of the Memphis Shades Springfield Mile I, on Saturday, September 4th, AFT legend Jared Mees (No. 9 Indian Motorcycle/Progressive Insurance FTR750) overcame a checkered flag challenge from rival Briar Bauman (No. 1 Indian Motorcycle/Progressive Insurance FTR750) to take the win in the Sunday race at the Illinois State Fairgrounds in Springfield, Illinois.
Most of the 14-minute-plus-two-lap race was dominated by a six-rider lead group consisting of Mees, Bauman, Brandon Robinson (No. 44 Mission Roof Systems Indian FTR750), Sammy Halbert (No. 69 Coolbeth-Nila Racing Indian FTR750), Brandon Price (No. 92 Mission Roof Systems Indian FTR750) and Jarod Vanderkooi (No. 20 Mission Roof Systems Indian FTR750).

Vanderkooi and Halbert (mechanical issues), Price were all dropped one way or another and then Robinson lost the draft to leave Mission SuperTwins presented by S&S Cycle title rivals Mees and Bauman to duke it out in a final lap showdown - Mees eventually trumped Bauman's high line efforts to take the win by 0.116 seconds, with Robinson a further 0.205 seconds back for the third podium place.
Robinson's teammate, Price, finished fourth, with an impressive Kolby Carlile (No. 36 Estenson Racing Yamaha MT-07 DT) collecting his third-career premier-class top-five. The victory was Mees' sixth-career Springfield Mile triumph, including four of the last five. Referencing the fact that he and his wife, Nichole, will also serve as the race promoter for the series' crown jewel event starting in 2022, he said, "I love the Springfield Mile. I figured if I'm gonna own it, I've got to win it, right?"
A frustrated Bauman made it clear in Victory Circle that he considered Mees' tactics unsafe and added that his plan would be "not get mad" but to "get even" in the second race.

AFT Production Twins Presented by Vance & Hines
Dallas Daniels (No. 32 Estenson Racing Yamaha MT-07) continues his inexorable march towards AFT superstardom. The 18-year-old prodigy dominated the Springfield Mile in his first attempt, winning Sunday's AFT Production Twins presented by Vance & Hines Main Event.
The victory followed his Friday, September 3rd AFT Singles sweep (leaving Daniels with two wins and a runner-up finish in his three career AFT Production Twins starts at that stage), setting the stage for a possible Springfield quadruple with the postponed SuperTwins race.
As if that wasn't enough, Daniels also pocketed an extra $5,000 for winning the Memphis

Dresden Harley Days 2021

First official German Harley-Event after Covid 19.

Back in Dresden 2021:

Dresden Harley Days

July 23rd-25th 2021 - Harley's return to rumble the Elbe Valley, European "Sportster S" Premiere

Saxonia's Dresden is one of the certain touristic highlights of East Germany – or rather will be – when the town will be recovered from extensine restauration and construction works in the city's former historic center. For the 3rd edition of "Dresden Harley Days" not just the Augustus bridge was still taken apart, but the popular promenade was closed too and cranes towering less scenic over much of what "Bomber Harris" Lancaster's have left when the Elbe valley in February 1945. The 2020 event was cancelled due to Covid and beside the pandemic, this years event was threatened by weather: Despite all claims for "climate change", Germany has been experiencing one of the wetter summers, including severe flashfloods in many german states. For those who know a little bit of history, "Old downtown Dresden" was not as far away as the images show: In fact, the event was held just a stone throw away from old Dresden, as the hill beside the eventside is one of three locations where the rubble of the ruins was buried...

What today is called "die Rinne" has for centuries been an overflow in the Elbe River which here, just about to exit the Dresden Basin to the north, twists snakelike in a sharp "S" turn, often overflooding the area which was in use as animal reserve for the neighbouring slaughterhouses, now trade fair "Messe Dresden". Since the Elbe river collects the waters of almost the entire Czech Republic as far as down to the Austrian Border, floods are completely out of control of the German authorities – so when sheduling any event at this location, it is mandatory to look for the Czech weather forecast. Held for the third time after another one year break, Dresden Harley Days were blessed by great weather, quite unlike other parts of Germany. The "rebirth" of the Dresden Harley Days have been appreciated by many Harley-riders as East Germany and Dresden have quite a lot riding opportunities to offer and Saxonia was somewaht hit by Covid and the accompanying restrictions which were partially lifted only shortly before the event date!

Dresden is the home of two Narrow Gauge Railways under steam, one which passes the spectacular castle of Moritzburg from Radebeul to Radeburg, the other from Freital to Kipsdorf. More steam is operating in the mountains east and west of Dresden, making the area a popular location for railways enthusisasts. South of Dresden, the Saxonian Switzerland and Fortress Koenigstein are offering spectacular views and Dresden itself, if you can live with the fact that its difficult to get something to eat after 8 pm – is still a great destination to shop and visit.

It was at this event that Harley-Davidson decided to unveil the new Sportster S to the public and with 8.500 visitors in three event days the crowd did watch Luke Mansfield, Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer and Kolja Rebstock, Regional Vice President Europe, Middle East and Africa of Harley-Davidson Motor Company lifting the cover from Harley-Davidson's next generation Sportster! The event had all the usual fun of a Harley-Party, including Bikeshow, live music and several local customizers present, visitors came from all over Germany as this was the first "official" event after more than a year in different version of "lockdown" and total inactivity, not to forget travel bans and curfews that made events like this impossible. The riders even ventured out for a parade into the City of Dresden, much of which is still lacking international tourists and is welcoming every visitor with open arms.

35th edition of the Biker Fest in Lignano Sabbiadoro (Udine) Italy.

34 years of history, 5 areas of Lignano Sabbiadoro occupied by 350 exhibitors, 3300 Demo Rides in the last edition, 450 off road riders, 250 Moto Tours made to know the Region, 14 official motorcycle manufacturers present with all the new motorcycle models, on 480,000 square meters: pure adrenaline in the central days of September and a great desire to savor again the normality and the love for engines.
This is the program and the numbers of the 35th edition of the Biker Fest in Lignano Sabbiadoro (Udine) Italy.

35th edition of the Biker Fest in Lignano Sabbiadoro (UD), where the golden beaches will compete with the gleaming chrome of the mechanical beasts, thousands of guests from all over the world, as evidence of the weight and internationality reached by this event that has made tourism and passion for engines at 360 ° its core business.
The event takes place in 4 different areas of the city to accentuate and diversify the peculiarities of each proposed attraction, so that the entire community is involved in the event.

Many national and international trends have come to life right here and it’s no coincidence that the Biker Fest Custom Bike Show is the most historical in Europe (born in 1987) and affiliated at its origins with the "Rat's Hole" of Daytona and Sturgis (USA). An absolute exclusive is the Final of the IMC Custom Bike Show Championship (Italian Motorcycle Championship) and the only date of the AMD World Custom Bike Show Championship in Italy, with the exhibition of the most beautiful bikes in Europe.
Among the prizes up for grabs there are 4 expense refunds of 1,000 Euros and free stands at mega trade fairs such as the Motor Bike Expo in Verona and Rome Motodays, and additional accessories offered by major international catalogs, worth tens of thousands of Euros.

As always, the area of the free Demo Rides at the Stadium, created by the Official Motorcycle Manufacturers present, will be a great success: last year's edition saw over 3,400 of them!
There will also be an 7 km long Off-Road area on two wheels, now in its 13th edition with the name of "Enduro Fest", while for the 4 wheels it will be about 2 km long, without forgetting the social commitment with the hospitality to associations of disabled people who will be accompanied along the paths and other race exhibitions of Garden Tractor, Moped, Vespa and Lambretta ... with the name "Mods Meet Rockers".

But this event can not miss the good old Rock live with a dozen live performances, and then the Pin Up Contest and news for all tastes, such as the involvement of the Skate Park and WindSurfing exhibitions, particularly appreciated given the location.

Even the culinary tastes will be amply satisfied with typical local and national cuisine, but also Bavarian, Argentine and Slovenian, with tasty dishes washed down by the best craft beers on the market.

Then various Moto-Tours starting from Thursday to visit the UNESCO cities and other places of special interest in the Region. The trips will start from Luna Park in the early morning and are organized and guided by the Moto Club Morena (present with a stand at the main entrance) and the magazine Mototurismo that for the first time will take the field during the event.

Grand finale on Sunday, with the 26th U.S. Car Reunion, since 1995 the most important and historic Italian event for American cars: the last edition boasted the presence of 400 splendid American V8s.

Speaking of something peppery, we can not fail to mention the "East Coast Sweet Pin-Up Contest" reaching this year its 6th edition. A contest that will see more than a dozen beautiful girls take the stage, ready to challenge each other with lipstick, acts and jokes. The contest, created by our friend Pelù, will take place on Saturday, while on Sunday the artists will be accompanied by the wonderful American Cars present.

You will find a careful eye to technology and Green Power at the e-Mobility Village in the Stadium area, created in collaboration with the Agency Lignano Holiday, a 2nd edition where visitors will have the opportunity to test for free hundreds of electric and hybrid vehicles, from cars to scooters through motorcycles and e-bikes.
This area is one of the largest and best organized not only nationally but also in Europe.
During the event there will be also the big E-Mobility Meeting: gathering of electric cars of every kind and brand, realized in collaboration with Tesla Club Italy, which will see a long snake of electric cars on the streets of Lignano Sabbiadoro during Sunday, September 19th:

Finally, we remember that also this year will be renewed the historic "Moto Senza Frontiere" (Motorcycles without Borders), an area dedicated to dozens of "Motoglobetrotters", motorcyclists who have traveled the world by motorcycle and that will be available to the public to showcase their books, videos and to tell their adventures on the road. They will also do it from the main stage, during the evenings of Friday and Saturday.

Green Pass can be required:

To miss it would be a crime, to be there an unmissable experience!
