"I feel it is important for the world to know. Full of Respect, I want to say I am no longer a member of the largest motorcycle club in the world, The HELLS ANGELS M.C. The only club I am a member of now, is the Human Race. I have chosen to leave the club in good standing, honorably, of my own free will. I am no longer a patch holder. I am no longer in the patch holding set. I am now what is considered to be a civilian. I want to thank Scotty, Gavan and Lee from Oakland and the entire Oakland Charter for helping me to see my dreams, realize them, and live them to the fullest. I chased my dreams, no matter how far away, or who tried to talk me out of it. I did what not many men get to do. I was a member and rode with the Giants who made this club, the first generation, on two continents, Cisco, Chico, Mouldy Marvin, Sam, Darrel, Fuzzy, K.O., Lurch, Spiderman, Lee HAMCO, Flash, Mike Malve, Musick, Fuki, Steve Brown, Little Gary, Wild Will, Bert, Bobby Durt, Bonanza and Sonny and no one can ever take that away.

We all have a purpose in this life and it is time for me to turn the page to the next chapter of my life and continue down my own path. I will never touch on this subject again, or answer any questions. I have massive love and respect for the members worldwide, endless amounts, especially Westport Holland, where I got my start and I wish them all the best this life has to offer.

I am gonna use the time I have left on this earth to focus more on saving dogs, helping people, supporting animals rights, and creating art and writing for a planet that so desperately needs it. And take care of my MomšŸ™ PEACE ✌️

Thanks David, hope to see you soon!

“Biker Belles represents many positive elements of the motorcycle community - encouragement, empowerment, mentorship and charity. When we created the event in 2009, we’d hoped it would change people’s lives for the better, and it’s amazing to see nearly a decade later how much it truly has. Each year the passion, diversity and spirit of this group has inspired amazing and unexpected connections and growth among participants and the community as a whole. I can’t wait to see where the Biker Belles takes us in the years to come, and I hope you will join us on the journey."
- Toni Woodruff, Biker Belles Program Manager

Here, leading industry women will discuss their experiences with motorcycling during the inspiring symposium, “Forward Motion”.

The Sturgis Buffalo Chip created the Biker Belles for two complementary purposes.
To raise awareness of the passion, diversity and spirit of women in motorcycling, celebrating women’s role in shaping the culture, art and history of motorcycling.
To use the event to raise funds for local charities that would be of particular interest to these very women. This charity event has been raising monies for worthy causes since its inception in 2009. Your contribution in 2019 will help the Biker Belles continue its mission of charitable giving.
All—men and women, riders and non-riders—are welcome to join this gathering of mentorship and sharing.
Participants are asked to make a $65 contribution to join the festivities, 100 percent of which directly benefit three South Dakota-based charities that benefit women-related causes, Helping with Horsepower, the Strider Foundation and the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum & Hall of Fame.
Don’t miss your opportunity to gather, ride and share stories during the 2019 Biker Belles event. Reserve your place now!

1951 Vincent Black Shadow Series C in top condition
Marque guru Andrew Kenningley a former keeper
Restored in 2016 under the scrutiny of Andrew and his brother

A rare, valuable and stunning Vincent Black Shadow Series C is being offered for sale at Silverstone Auctions’ British Marques sale at Heythrop Park on the 11th May.
In superb condition and beautifully restored by Marque Guru, Andrew Kenningley of Southport using original parts, this is a legend of the motorcycle world.

The Heythrop Classic Car sale, which takes place earlier in the day, has a 2007 KTM 990 EFI Adventure offered from the classic car and bike collection of Jay Kay.
Making its public debut at the 1948 Earls Court Motorcycle Show, the Vincent Black Shadow went on to become a legend in its own lifetime, fuelling the demand among discerning collectors for fine examples of the marque, such as this one being offered in the Silverstone Auctions sale.
Amongst knowledgeable Vincent enthusiasts, the name of Andrew Kenningley from Southport is held in reverence. It was he who was responsible for the restoration of the 1949 Vincent Black Shadow Series 'C' that achieved the remarkable sum of £119,100 (inc. premium) at a major auction around 18 months ago.

Pleasingly Andrew was also responsible for, and indeed was the former keeper of, this 1951 Black Shadow we are privileged to be offering for sale.
The National Database of Classic Vehicles has confirmed that this Black Shadow dates from 1951. The Certificate of Authenticity from Vincent Motorcycles Ltd clarifies that frame number RC9055B has been fitted with a 1949 HRD 998cc engine, which is now to full Black Shadow specification and after speaking to Andrew he confirmed that it would be capable of 130mph if you are brave enough. In period the Vincent Black Shadow was the fastest road bike, originally topping out at a remarkable 125mph.

There is also a Vincent Motorcycles 'repair order card' showing that the motorcycle was rebuilt to a 'show standard' using all original panels. 512 hours were logged on the restoration and the work was completed in 2016. Every aspect of this Vincent’s return to the top level has come under the scrutiny of Andrew and his brother and the results speak for themselves.
Our vendor purchased the completely restored motorcycle in 2016 and we believe it has remained in his lounge ever since. He starts it occasionally, but it has never been on the road. Restored to a show winning standard with zero miles since and with an estimate of £55,000 to £65,000, this is a 'Best-of-Breed' Black Shadow.

If you are after something more modern, a 2007 KTM 990 EFI Adventure is being offered in the Heythrop Sale from rock legend Jay Kay of Jamiroquai, a keen classic and supercar collector.
The bike has 1,000 miles from new and comes with a history file and a KTM service. Having been in Jay Kay’s collection for a few years, he is now offering the bike with no reserve.

Arwel Richards, Auction Manager for the Heythrop sale commented "This is one fantastic motorcycle and one that has created a lot of interest. We are delighted to be offering such an important motorcycle and very much look forward to seeing the bidding in our British Marques sale.”
“We are also delighted to be offering the KTM motorcycle from Jay Kay. In fact, we now have two lots from his collection and are honoured to be entrusted with selling two of his prized possessions.”

The Heythrop and British Marques sale is a one day sale with viewing of the lots on Friday 10th May from 09:00 until 17:00 and on the morning of Saturday 11th May 2019.
The auction will take place on the 11th May starting with the Automobilia at 10:30 followed by the Heythrop Classic Car sale at 12:30 and finally the British Marques at 14:00

Many riders take to roads without realising they are putting themselves in danger by wearing the incorrect clothing. This week’s tips offers advice on clothing to all riders from IAM RoadSmart’s head of driving and riding standards, Richard Gladman.

Make sure your crash helmet fits correctly, have your head measured and try a number of makes to ensure a correct fit. It should not move around and must be secured with the chin strap when you are riding. A full face helmet will offer the most protection. If you choose a helmet with an opening chin guard, ride with it down for maximum protection, only ride with it up if the helmet is approved for such use. All safety helmets must be tested to BSI 6658:85 or equivalent (ECE 22.5 in Europe)
Keep your visor clean and remember a black visor is illegal at night

Do not be tempted to ride without gloves, even a low speed off can result in a nasty injury to your hands. If the weather is warm you can get gloves which will offer protection and allow air flow
Boots will offer good protection to your ankles in case of an incident. There are a number of different types available which offer a balance between protection from your bike and also make it able for you to walk around at your destination. A sturdy pair of work boots is much better than a pair of trainers

Your clothing needs to be comfortable. An abrasion resistant fabric is best, and there is a number of cheap options available with this type of material and armour in your most vulnerable places. If the weather is warm try an airtex type material which will allow the cooling breeze. You need to be able to move and turn so make sure the fit is not too tight but remember a loose flapping jacket will also be uncomfortable

Waterproofs, a high viz and a good waterproof suit will allow you to stay comfortable in all conditions, make sure it fits comfortably over your normal motorcycle clothing and does not restrict movement. The high viz is a personal choice but if you are going to wear it make sure it fits properly, too tight or flapping around will be a distraction

Richard Gladman is IAM RoadSmart’s head of driving and riding standards.
IAM RoadSmart has a mission to make better drivers and riders in order to improve road safety, inspire confidence and make driving and riding enjoyable. It does this through a range of courses for all road users, from online assessments through to the advanced driving and riding tests. IAM RoadSmart is the trading name of all businesses operated by the UK’s largest road safety charity, the Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM) and was formed in April 2016 combining the IAM, IAM Drive & Survive, PDS and IAM Driver Retraining Academy. The organisation has 92,000 members and campaigns on road safety on their behalf. At any one time there are over 7,000 drivers and riders actively engaged with IAM RoadSmart’s courses, from members of the public to company drivers, while our Driver Retraining Academy has helped 2,500 drivers to shorten their bans through education and support programmes.

Stylmartin Colorado

Materiaal: Waterafstotend leer + waterafstotend Suede
Protectie: Interne enkelbescherming
Sluiting: Veters
Voetbed: Anatomisch en ademend. Uitneembare zool.
Zool: Antislip rubber zool
Maatrange: 36 t/m 47
Kleur: cognac
Prijs: € 159,00
