In the stunt shows at INTERMOT, the best in the business turn physics on its head and demonstrate what seems impossible on two wheels but is still possible for the “masters”. Every two years, the top acts on the stunt scene present hot tricks in the event spaces at Cologne's leading international motorcycle fair. Now the absolute stunt highlight awaits visitors to INTERMOT 2018: the first European Stunt Championship Finale.
Hungarian Herczeg Balász, also known as “Troger Mokus” (Flying Squirrel) is considered one of the best European stunt riders and has already thrilled the audience at INTERMOT many times. Along with event manager Imre Ujhelyi, who secured the rights to the European Street Freestyle Cup at the FIM/ Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme, he initiated the first European Stunt Championship. The large numbers of visitors and the international orientation of INTERMOT convinced the planners of the European Stunt Championship to hold the Finale exclusively in Cologne.
On 6 February, the contract was finally signed for the Stunt EM Finale to take place at this year's INTERMOT. The 50 best stunt riders from 15 nations are expected to fight for the European stunt riding crown over the three-day competition on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
