They feature race-inspired stainless steel headers that shave pounds off the competition to ensure a long lasting, weather-resistant, amazing sounding exhaust. Exhausts come complete with heat shields. From the engine, the exhaust flows through our 1 3/4" stainless tubing which includes O2 bungs to accommodate both stock and 18mm sensors. From here the exhaust steps up to 1 7/8" before dumping into the spring retained collector for increased torque. The exhaust then emerges from the collector into a 4" diameter muffler to deliver an unparalleled sound upon exit. Competition-S exhausts feature removable end caps in aluminum or carbon fiber.

SAINT PAUL, MN (December 5, 2017) – The largest custom bike and car show in the Midwest, the Donnie Smith Show - Midwest Extravaganza, Bike, Car & Tattoo Expo, is bringing authentic Indoor Flat Track motorcycle racing back to the Twin Cities, where the roots of the sport were born. For 13 seasons, from 1968 to 1980, the revered Minneapolis Armory hosted “The Indoors,” indoor flat track racing that filled otherwise dreary winter months with handle-bar-to-handle bar, down-and-dirty, bar-banging action. Over those years, hundreds of privateer racers found a home in which to compete. As one of the largest, most successful and longest-running flat track events, The Indoors put the sport on the map. Now the Twin Cities will welcome the heart-pounding thunder of flat track racing once again on March 23, 2018 at the Lee & Rose Warner Coliseum on the Minnesota State Fairgrounds.   


“Flat track plays into that American spirit of independence, competitiveness and the need for speed,” said Neil Ryan, promoter of the Donnie Smith Bike & Car Show. “We have a rich heritage going back into the ‘60s. The Donnie Smith Show’s always had a swap meet component, along with the biggest custom show in the region. Adding racing back to the mix brings it full circle and completes the package.”

Van Vroomshoop naar Borne, 50 jaar geschiedenis is verhuisd.

Inderdaad, Oude Monnink Motors bestaat al een halve eeuw en behoort daarmee tot een van de oudste motorzaken in Nederland. In 1966 begon het bedrijf van Jan en Ans Oude Monnink  als veelzijdige motorzaak in Vroomshoop, waarna zoon Richard met zijn vrouw Manon in 1992 het bedrijf overnamen en het een exclusief Harley-Davidson dealerschap werd. 

Ondanks een grondige renovatie van het pand in 2003, waarbij het nieuwe uiterlijk gecombineerd werd met de ouderwetse gezelligheid, was Oude Monnink Motors enkele jaren nadien, toch al weer dringend toe aan een  nieuw onderkomen. Zoon Bas kwam het team in 2011 versterken, en werd betrokken bij de nieuwbouwplannen. “De tijd was er toen niet rijp voor,” aldus Richard, ”We wilden graag naar een nieuw onderkomen, maar met de langzaam herstellende economie net na de crisisjaren, wilden we liever nog even wachten.” In 2016 werd het plan weer opgepakt en vol enthousiasme werd met het uitwerken van de nieuwbouwplannen vlakbij Hengelo begonnen.

Tijdens het openingsweekend van 1-3 december, was het elke dag volle bak in de zaak. Tussen de honderden bezoekers ook klanten van het eerste uur, zoals Lex die in 1973 samen met zijn broer een motor bij de toen nog Multi-brand dealer zijnde zaak kocht. “Ik kocht mijn eerste motor bij de vader van Richard, een Honda 350 en mijn broer een Suzuki 250!” zo weet hij nog goed.

Brembo 19RCS Corsa Corta radiale hoofdremcilinder

Brembo presenteert de laatste evolutie van de radiale hoofdremcilinder met de nieuwe 19RCS Corsa Corta. De nieuwe hoofdremcilinder komt uit de High Performance familie van Brembo en biedt tal van innovaties rechtstreeks afkomstig uit de MotoGP. Geschikt voor circuit én straat met keuze uit 6(!) verschillende afstellingen.

De 19RCS Corsa Corta biedt de rijder de mogelijkheid de vrije slag en daarmee het aangrijppunt naar wens in te stellen met een eenvoudig bereikbare draaiknop in Normal, Sport of Race modus.

Normal (N) - De vrije slag is normaal en de rem grijpt normaal aan voor gebruik in de stad of onder minder goede weersomstandigheden. 

Sport (S) - De vrije slag is korter en de rem grijpt sneller aan dan in de N-stand. Deze afstelling geeft een meer dynamisch gevoel en is geschikt voor sportief straat- en circuit gebruik.

Race (R) - De vrije slag wordt verder verkleind en de rem grijpt nog sneller aan. De 19RCS Corsa Corta  geeft  in deze R-stand hetzelfde directe gevoel als hoofdremcilinders gebruikt in de MotoGP en is ideaal voor gebruik op het circuit.

De 19RCS Corsa Corta is ook voorzien van het RCS (Ratio Click System) systeem dat 10 jaar geleden is geïntroduceerd op de Brembo 19RCS hoofdremcilinder. Met het RCS systeem kan de hefboomverhouding van de hoofdremcilinder aangepast worden door eenvoudig de stelschroef 180° te verdraaien. Het systeem versteld de afstand tussen het scharnierpunt van de hevel en het contactpunt van de drukstift in de hevel met 2mm. Dit is herkenbaar aan de zichtbare drukstift die rood is op de 18mm en zwart op de 20mm stand. Door de verhouding te veranderen kan er gekozen worden voor fijn doseren (18mm) wat ideaal is voor circuitgebruik of een wat harder gevoel in de remhevel (20mm) wat voor straatgebruik wordt geadviseerd.

Doordat beide instellingen afzonderlijk van elkaar te configureren zijn is het mogelijk te kiezen uit in totaal 6 verschillende standen! Hierdoor is altijd het gewenste gevoel te creëren passend bij de omstandigheden.

Met de nieuwe 19RCS Corsa Corta kan iedere rijder de remprestaties van zijn motorfiets drastisch verbeteren door simpelweg de standaard gemonteerde hoofdremcilinder te vervangen door een Brembo radiale hoofdremcilinder.

De hoofdremcilinder is gefreesd uit gesmeed aluminium met 5-assige frees technologie. De ultra harde geoxideerde oppervlakte-afwerking zorgt voor een uitstekende slijtvastheid en extreem lage wrijving tussen bewegende delen. De zuiger, ontluchtings- en remvloeistof koppelingen zijn dezelfde als gebruikt in de MotoGP.

De producten uit de Brembo High Performance familie zijn uitermate geschikt voor circuitgebruik, maar zijn ook voor gebruik op de openbare weg ontwikkeld. De 19RCS Corsa Corta is bijvoorbeeld standaard voorzien van een remlichtschakelaar en kan (optioneel) een spiegel gemonteerd worden bij een naked bike.
De High Performance familie bestaat verder uit remklauwen en remschijven om zelfs de meest extreme standaard motoren van een upgrade te kunnen voorzien.
