The New Indian 60. Just Unveiled.

New Indian 60

Indian Motorcycle Unveils The Smaller Displacement Scout Sixty. The Most Powerful Motorcycle In Its Class.

Only $8,999.00.

There is no doubt that all over the world there is a rich appetite for dynamic, smaller displacement bikes. The Scout Sixty joins the Indian Scout family with sixty cubic inches of displacement, the most powerful in its class with a peak 78 hp and 65 ft/lbs of torque in North America and offered at the very attractive price of US $8,999. European models come with 78 hp and 89 Nm of torque and includes Anti-Lock Brakes. Starting MSRP in Europe is €11,590.

The Scout Sixty is stylishly blacked out aluminum frame and swingarm, as well as a black seat and gloss black cast wheels. Featuring a linear powerband that works for many skill levels the Scout® Sixty’s smaller displacement and 5-speed transmission make for easy access to its power in the city or cruising the highway.

The newest Scout® Sixty model carries over the highly complimented chassis, suspension and braking components from the Scout Series.

As Indian Motorcycle® continues to grow, the addition of this Sixty model to the Scout® family gives even more riders a chance to throw a leg over a premium brand with a legendary past. Since its launch during the 2014 Sturgis on the Wall of Death, The Scout has been a show-stopper with consumers and press alike, being named Cruiser of the Year and winning multiple bike shootouts. As you see it each week in my website the industry of pro custom builders, of dealers and of aftermarket part vendors have fully embraced the Scout® platform. One of the reasons is that the Scout® models are designed for easy customization, offering individuals and professionals unlimited possibilities for personalization.

“Adding the Scout® Sixty to the lineup this year is a testament to the skill of our engineers and shows our commitment to the success of our brand. By adding dealers in every major North American market, we are firmly establishing ourselves as a leading brand of today. And our future is even brighter thanks to continued investment into cutting-edge production capabilities that ensure these highly sought-after motorcycles will be available to enthusiasts as more riders choose to ride America’s First Motorcycle” said Steve Menneto, President Of Indian Motorcycle.

Menneto also announced the return of Indian to flat-track racing. With a sponsorship for the Hooligan class at the AMA Grand Finale in Las Vegas on November 21st, Indian will be debuting several Scout® Sixty models customized by Roland Sands. Built specifically to race, these hooligans should put Indian Motorcycle® back on the winner’s podium. “Each hooligan captures the Scout’s soul and shows how easy it is to customize a light, aggressive machine ready to hustle the streets or dominate the track” added Menneto.

The low center of gravity and lowest seat height of 25.3” let the Scout® Sixty feel comfortable and planted on urban commutes, but also allows for excellent handling with best in class lean angle even if pushing the bike hard on a weekend ride through the canyons. Colors & MSRP. Thunder Black US $8999. India Red US $9299 Pearl White US $9299.

A complete line of custom accessories including fit-kit seats, foot peg locators and handlebars are designed to tailor the motorcycle to the rider. Riders can customize the Scout® and Scout® Sixty with additional accessories including wire wheels, Stage 1 exhaust systems, mini-apes, performance shock absorbers, and the 1920 Solo Saddle.
