The first of what is intended to be a new line of chopper and pro-street motorcycles that are said to be "highly adaptable and customizable" the aim is to provide riders with access to a "solid performance platform" that allows the customer to tailor the motorcycle to his or her own personal custom style preferences.
Features include an S&S 111ci v-twin engine, Jim's 6-speed transmission, a fat 250-section rear tire, and fully adjustable progressive suspension.
Described as "unmatched in quality and performance" the MCC01's 'standard' platform package is designed as a reliable and robust foundation on which "our customers can specify or add their own parts and accessories to deliver the kind of affordable performance, reliability and styling package that the most discerning of riders are looking for" said company founder and co-owner Matt Moore.
With 10 years of experience at big Dog Motorcycles under his belt, Moore, with co-owner Ivan Dewit (an experienced OE technical and management executive and former European importer Big Dog Motorcycles) believe this new approach "meets the needs of the market for affordability and meets the needs of riders for a custom motorcycle that is truly a reflection of the owners riding style and requirements".
Dewit says that "everybody has their own vision for their machine, and our motorcycles will provide the platform on which that ownership and riding experience can be built".
With more models expected for release later this year, production will be based at facilities on both sides of the Atlantic, allowing KMW to quickly and easily respond to rider requests with a platform that is tailored for street regulation requirements from the get-go.
In addition to motorcycles, KMW will also release a new, modern, and highly-fashionable apparel line "styled in Italy" which offers rider comfort as well as stylish and contemporary design.
