2013 Sturgis Hillclimb – Nitro National Pro Motorcycle Hill Climb Returns to Rally
2013 Sturgis Hillclimb –
Nitro National Pro Motorcycle Hill Climb Returns to Rally
Hear that rumble? It’s the sound of the Sturgis rally 2013 Rumble in the Hill Pro Motorcycle Hill Climb at the Legendary Buffalo Chip, the best of the Sturgis campgrounds! And you’re not going to hear it, or see it unless you get yourself up there in August 2013. The Hill Climb will take place August 7th and 8th, 2013.
Grab your camera to get a shot of these exotic custom built hill climb motorcycles, with steel bolted paddle tires, and nitro injected 200 horsepower engines, ridden by some of the best hill climb motorcycle riders in the country! No other bikes at any Sturgis campgrounds will compare with these hill climb motorcycles which look like the flames of Hell blowing out of the back of these bikes.
In fact, there is nothing else at any other Sturgis campgrounds or anywhere in South Dakota that compares to this awesome motorcycle spectacle. This ain’t no local yokel attraction either. The 2009 champion Harold Waddell, as seen on the Discovery Channel, and 2010’s champion Max Simmons returned to Sturgis, South Dakota in 2011 along with all of the other top hill climb motorcycle riders in the country for Round 6 of the N.A.H.A. Pro Hill climb series.
Past attendees say that this is one of the Buffalo Chip Sturgis campgrounds’ must see entertainment and fun Sturgis motorcycle rally attractions. Advance motorcycle hill climb tickets will be available through the Sturgis Buffalo Chip box office at 605-347-9000 and online. Seating and full concessions will be available.
This action-packed Sturgis Rally event is not for the faint of heart and features the best of the best extreme motorsport riders from around the world to strut their stuff on nitro-burning exotic steel and paddle tire combo hill climb motorcycles in this Open Class event.
California’s Team Peterson and their ground-eating custom Harley Davidson Hill climb motorcycles include the amazing 1500cc nitro-methane-burning hill climb motorcycle machine and the earth shaking 2500cc hill climb monster that eats lesser bikes for breakfast.
The event is not a Harley Davidson only event, however. Hill climb motorcycle riders will be competing on nearly every motorcycle brand that exists. Many of these high-performance hill climb motorcycle machines will be burning exotic fuels like nitro, methanol, and nitrous. Every one of them will be bigger than 700cc with the most in the 1400cc range.
Thousands of dollars in prize money is at stake and of course there’s always a chance to see some spectacular crashes at the 2013 Sturgis bike rally hill climb event. It’s not your kid’s Saturday afternoon motocross. And just to make sure that you leave the Sturgis bike rally with something to remember, the North American Hill Climb Association has added two 700cc Class events, one on each day, to turn up the heat.
These Sturgis Rally daredevils will come head on handlebars with a 300-foot course featuring impossible ledges and skill-testing jumps during both of the scheduled three-hour events compromising the RacerX/Malcolm Smith Motorsports NAHA Pro Series.
It’s all happening at the Legendary Sturgis Buffalo Chip’s annual party during the Sturgis motorcycle rally in August. Just in case you’re thinking “how tough can a hill climb rally really be?” take a few minutes to check out the ass-kicking Sturgis Rally Rumble in the Hills Pro Hill Climb Sturgis video (shown above) that reveals exactly what you’ll be in for when you make the hill climb event part of your must-see Sturgis Bike Week itinerary.
Check out the 2013 Buffalo Chip Sturgis campgrounds’ event schedule and see why year after year the Buffalo Chip Campground is where all the action is. No trip to the Sturgis Bike Rally is complete until you’ve been there.
